Finishing Touches
It's been an appalingly long time since my last post, but this should pick up from here on in.
Thing have been busy with a variety of projects from kids' educational illustrations to 3D environment builds for the Kruger Park. All this while, the good folks at The G-Studio have been hard at work rebuilding my website, which is in the final tweaking stages before we're able to go live and I'm happy to say it looks amazing, so I'll drop that bomb as soon as it's done.
Furthermore my two daily blogs are chugging along, so do check them you here:
Daily Drawings and Daily Photographs.
More will follow shortly. And in the meantime, here's a painting I'm working on.

Brushing Up
Here's a couple of brand-spanking new paintings I've been working on. Clearly they're all still works-in-progress, but it's always fun getting back into it and watching them grow. It all feels very loose and relaxed, which tends to help the work in not getting too constricted and lifeless.
'til next time!

Convergence
I have finally gotten to the point where the traditional and new media mix. Where I want them, not where they're commonly forced together. My way. So let's see where it goes from here...

Mixed Movement. But Always Forwards.
Here are a number of images in 3D and ink. And the painting is being done as we speak, so things are in motion, which is how i prefer them to be.

Speedwork #1
Here is a lightning-quick model I pulled together in 3D as part of the whole R&D operation. Things should get more complex from here on in, because this one is dead simple. Mainly a test in outdoor lighting.

Hell's Kitchen
Part of the Re-Education. I decided to work from life and built our kitchen in 3D. Not quite there yet, but you get the general idea.
